About this tour
Khao Na Yak is the quiet coastal corner south of Khao Lak where the Thai Muang National Park meets the Andaman Sea. This private day tour takes your group there by local longtail boat: two snorkeling stops on healthy coral reefs close to shore, a slow cruise through the mangrove channels, a Thai set lunch at a local restaurant and a relaxed afternoon of swimming, canoeing and beach time. There is no long speedboat crossing, so it suits families with small children and anyone who wants the sea without the crowds of the Similan Islands.
After hotel pickup in Khao Lak you drive to Tub Lamu pier and board your own longtail boat. The two snorkeling stops come first, followed by the mangroves and lunch. Depending on the tide and the day, canoeing takes place before or after lunch. In the afternoon you continue to the Khao Na Yak and Thai Muang coastal area to swim, relax and take photos before the boat returns to the pier and the van brings you back to your hotel.
